Technical centre of Xuzhou Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd, core of technique system, is responsible for the maintenance, construction, innovation and management of the system. Its main function includes: layout of technique and product, development of new product and improvement of finished product, technical management, technical research, standardization, management of technical tools and archives, service & training. The centre dedicates to strengthen the function of the technical system, exteriorly closing to the market and interiorly penetrating to the manufacture.

    With nearly 300 researchers including leaders of subjects, experts, advanced engineers, engineers and assistants, the centre has established the promotion channel from deviser to director and the rewards and punishment system of eliminating the last one through assess. With the reasonable structure, the centre develops very well. There are three offices and seven institutes in the centre. They are technique central office, technique analytic office, certificate office, and seven professional institutes which are crane institute, special chassis institute, crawler institute, pump institute, fire truck institute, computer information institute and technique institute. Besides, the centre includes purchase, sales and the technology of the seven sub-factories.

    In order to improve the design quality of the products, the technical centre has brought in AUTOCAD, pro/e 3D, ANSYS, PDM/CAPP and other technical methods to shorten the period of developing new products, grasp the market, and promote the design quality of the products.
At present, the technical centre possesses 140 patents, and frequently acquires advancing awards. Since the launch of K series truck cranes in 1999, the centre develops 6-8 new products every year. It is the awards and the new products that has brought great reputation and substantive benefit for the enterprise.
